Hi, this level 3 book is good reading however legislation has changed since it was published, safeguarding the well-being of children is explored on pages 109+

This page of NSPCC directs you to uptodate child protection legislation for each home nation and this page of silkystyeps will help you find the relevant framework for your home nation - Wales/Scotland/NI/England

The unit is indepth (more than can be posted on one reply) so if there's any specific criteria or activity you're unsure of please feel free to post about it.
