British values are a set of four values introduced to help keep children safe and promote their welfare – as is the duty of all providers following the EYFS; specifically to counter extremism.

There's more information on The Prevent Duty and the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 on gov.uk

There is also a publication from Practical Preschool that helps settings identify current practices, promote and protect;
  • democracy;
  • the rule of law;
  • individual liberty;
  • mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith - page 5 of this gov. publication
British Values in the Early Years on amazon.co.uk

and thank you kaneez77 the time you take to reply is very much appreciated xx
