Hi, a very warm welcome to the site. On page 61 of this level 3 handbook it identifies transitions as moving between settings and carers, starting and moving through day care, moving to school, birth of a sibling, moving home, living outside the family home, family breakdown, loss of significant people.

You'll be looking to discuss how these transitions can make children feel - emotionally and their physical their well-being eg, the impact on a child's self confidence, depression, anger, relationships, self-harming and abusive behaviours, antisocial behavious and underachievement. The index also lists other pages where transitions are explored.

Hth, best wishes
