we have some of those 'pump' type wind-up torchs which the children love- really good for developing hand strength too.....particulary good with the boys!!!

Great idea - and how about using them to make shadows using card templates or hands onto a wall space.:shocked:

Do you know anyone who is buying a new fridge or washing machine? You could lay it on its side, drape dark, heavy fabric over and create a dark cave???

er, wouldn't that be a bit dangerous? Do we want to encourage children to climb into fridges and washing machines? Unless you mean the box..... ?
