Hi
i don't work with babies but one risk that comes to mind is a baby pulling themselves up onto furniture, it's something they need to do to move on.
would you allow them to pull themselves up?
are they in significant harm?
how can you help them control the harm that they may have with the child taking the risks? (safety mats, cushions placed around them to ease the fall. Adult there to support them with encouragement, support) (catch them as they fall).
alot of babies and toddlers risks can mean bruises and bumps is this acceptable?
observe your babies they are taking risks all the time e.g.
toddler climbing up at window, toddler climbing on tables and chairs, toddler learning to walk
Hope it gives you a few ideas. babies and toddlers need to take risks it increases their self esteem and lets them move on otherwise they will not move on
