You will need to create an information booklet on a range of Child Developmental Theorists. You will need to research these theorists, and then be able to describe and outline their theories.
You will then need to select two or three of these theorists to research in more detail, comparing their theories and the implementation of these in a practical setting.
To conclude your document, you will explain which theories you most closely follow in your setting, with examples of this. This document can then be used to support new members of your setting’s staff in becoming familiar with Developmental Theorists.
Please consider the following theorists in your research:
• Brain Development Theory
• Humanist (Maslow)
• Behaviourist (Wilson)
• Compound Flexibility (Fraser Brown)
