Nvq 3 Ccld & Gcse

Hi There this part is worrying me the math more so, was it bad? Do you have any tips? I have a revision sheet but keep picking it and putting is down again. xxx

i have to do the key skills and dreading it, i am rubbish at maths, my assossor left me a sheet on fracions, percentages and ratio just canot get my head round it , and i have to make two list of equipment and compare prices got £500 for each list have u had to do this '
any advise would be very much appriciated

Yes I had to do exactly what you did and yes my GCSEs were able to stand even though I took them many years ago.

i had to do key skills, i passed my gcse 7years ago and stil had to do key skills when i did my level 2 and again doin my level 3 not sure y tho

i was asked what i had when i enroled but have to do Key Skills in Maths, ICT and English as these are over 5 years old :)

Hi guys - just done this tests - in July - they are quite hard - you need to be able to calculate perimeters, areas, averages and means. we were directed to bbc skillwise but my son (doing gcse) suggested bitesize for info practice.

yh the bbc one is really good i used them for my gcse 6 years ago x

Hi cuppy cake we just had to do maths and english but our tutor did mention that they were going to introduce ict. The tests were a bit of a shock for me because its been over 20 years since I did them - they were called 'o' levels then ( oh god showing my age!!) yours are quite recent so you'll walk it! be confident!!!

Hi LindsayS - look on BBc skillwise and Bitesize - they have really good explanations of how to do everything and multiple choice questions to check your knowledge
