Lightbulb Plasters

Do you ask about allergies when it comes to Plasters, keep a particular type or use a different sort of dressing?

Do you include details of them in any policies?

We used to keep ones with printed pictures on and ask in the enrolemnet form about particular plaster allergy ~ but not sure if you're supposed to use the health & safety blue ones nowadays !!

we ask on the enrollemt form if we are allowed to use palsters on said child, we use hypoallergenic ones, unless a specific brand is stated

we were told we can use any style of plaster

I ask for consent to use hypoallergenic plasters and my health and safety policy says that wounds must be covered to prevent infection. I like yo get all different patterns and colours but if the children see them they often think they're stickers and want some or they'll pretend to have an "owie" and want one! Sometimes I draw funny pictures on plain plasters to cheer little ones up.
