Default evidence for level 3 safeguarding unit?

Hi all
I am doing my safeguarding unit, and all is going fine (other than it being REALLY repetitive!). However, I am on the question "Analyse the importance of supporting resilience in children and young people". This is an evidence based question, but I have no idea what to submit as evidence! What did everyone else do??

Thanking you in advance!!

Lizzie

Default support childrens resilience and emotional well-being

Hi, you could use your setting's safeguarding policies & procedures, its prospectus/welcome pack and any information in your staff handbook about the reason why/how staff support children's emotional well-being.

Handsonscotland have good reading for resilience http://www.handsonscotland.co.uk/flo...esilience.html

and page 65 of the EYE handbook examines the importance of being able to bounce back, cope and deal positively with the variety of challenging situations and information that a child's daily life can bring (search the 'look inside' feature for resilience)

Hi a warm welcome to the site.

These links may help

The redacted 2007 Safeguarding children and safer recruitment in education

Archived CWDC safer recruitment guidance 2009 - link also at the bottom of this page

and the current Keeping Children safe in Education 2016

About the criminal record checking system
on The Guardian

Hope this helps xx
