I have a question Creating a display which demonstrates inclusive practice thats also interactive, am at a loss!

Hi all!

I am rather stuck and in need of some assistance, for my level 3 EYE, I need to produce a display which demonstrates inclusive practice, that needs to be visible to all who access my setting and need to in some way make it interactive... does anyone have any ideas? as am at a loss and my tutor hasn't helped :(

Hi, consider the aspects of invclusion that you've explored. Page 133 of this EYE handbook lists inclusive practices as
  • Promoting a sense of belonging
  • Valuing cultural diversity and respecting difference
  • giving individual children individual help
  • Understand religions
  • Include children with disabilities
  • Having an awareness of gender roles
  • Avoid steryotypes ans labelling
  • Promote a child's sense of self-worth
An interactive display could focus on one of these aspects or all. For exmple you could title the display 'What is inclusive practice?' Then hidden under flaps you could list the children's ideas about it or what your setting's policy states.

Hope this helps xx
