Document information regarding special dietary requirements and share this with all those in contact with the child

Just say what your policy and proceedures would be if such a situation arose eg if you had a new starter who had special dietary requirements such as:

vegetarian
vegan
diabetic

nut allergies
wheat allergies
dairy allegies
gluten allergies ..............etc

Non pork diet (Islam)
halal meat only (Islam)
Kosher - no pork or shellfish (Judiasm)

Hope this helps x

(see this thread for more detail and ideas : http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/show...y+requirements)
