Safeguarding and the EYFS..any help plss??

The work i have been set is " Write a written account demonstrating your understanding of the main legislation, guidelines, policies and procedures for safeguarding children and young people. As discussed please add a little more detail and include the EYFS to cover"

i have covered all of the first points but i am struggling to tie Safeguarding in with the EYFS can anyone help please?

Safeguarding is a welfare requirement of the eyfs to safeguard the welfare of children and young people. the provider must take nessecary steps to safeguard and promote the welfare of children,
