We tried using the little books to get the parents to record what they hsd read but very few parents wrote in them - so we now have a home to school link book which we add little notes about what the child has enjoyed during the morning and encourage the parents to write anthing they have done at home. We are lucky as we are sessional we get to see the parents and have a chat at drop off and collection time.
