Hi Forest
I am looking at this unit too. My task sheet says: You will need to investigate: a. His/her life and any factors or other theorists that influenced his work. b. his mian theories, including any specific stages of development that the theorist outlined. c. how his theories influence current practice, making reference where possible to any curriculum guidance documents in use in your workplace(s). d. any additional research, by other theorists, that challenges or extends the work of the theorists you are investigating; Prepare a factsheet, summarising the main theories.

Hope this helps clarify things

Book for theorists is HOW CHILDREN LEARN by linda pound, it has loads of info, and if u get ccld level 3 by tassoni and ccld lev 3 by walker.
I had to write on A4 page about when they were young, their interests, which schools they went to and college, university? if they got married, had children, how they got to their theory and putting it in to practice, if they won any prizes or distinction for their work. Hope this helps, x
