Upset my tutor said I may fail my course cause I don't have a lot of room left in my folder for my work. - Silkysteps early years forum

What can I do?? Most of my work in my folder as been took up by child development project which is 110 pages long. As when I wrote it out I was told I need to add more and pictures to it etc. Then found out she had told others they can do it in a chart which I did to begin with and was told no im not allowed to do it that way.

I dont know what I am going to do now as scared I may fail. Anyone got any advise

shes a twit. you only fail if you dont do the work not if you do too much. ignore her or challenge her but dont worry. I would personally complain to her boss cos if one of my tutors was scaring students like this I'd have something to say to her.

Thank you so much I am really considering complainng. I am sat with worry I have put many hrs in to the course and I am 7 months in to my course. Thing with me is I write a lot sometimes I admit I do more than what I need to do. I am going to have a word with my tutor on Thursday next week.

Tutu... what would you do if your students couldn't fit all their work in their folder?

sounds like she`s trying to cut down on her own work load!!! the work is uploaded isnt it ? you`ve obviously worked hard so stick with it and keep going. x

All the way through my course as soon as I have completed a unit my assessor says to take it out and put it in a 'finished' file and I can have as many of those as I like, it also helps psychologically to see your remaining units lessen. There is no way you should have to fit it into one file
