Swimming ?

Anyone had experience of arranging group swimming sessions?
Is it something you'll be doing for the Summer term?

Narnia is on a distinguished road

At my old group, we used to take the children over to the school's pool.we ensured that parents went too, or that we had at least one adult to two children (where children could already swim/or were very confident in the water).I had to take a lifeguards test, as school staff couldn't oversee us.It was a 'learner pool' so it was only chest high for tiny children at the shallow end and about 4 feet at the deep nd,so it was a brilliant way of getting the children to enjoy the water.Sadly, the school now won't let anyone else use it and are talking about filling it in to use the space as play area!!!!
