Working hours

Hi just wondering what the norm is for working hours with a day nursery?

Do people have set days and hours, with flexibility when required?

I receive my rota on a Friday, hours seem to vary from week to week, sometimes different days ie coming in on days off etc.

Just wondering if this is how most private day nurseries run in order to be managed more profitably.

Many thanks
