Coffee Pumpkins

Is anyone else having the same problem as me finding a pumpkin or two that have halfway decent skin?? Everywhere I look, all I can find are scabby scarred specimens (try saying that after a drink or three!):talktothe Is this a nationwide problem or just here in the North-East???:gnasher:

no problems in South west, all beutiful specimens of differing sizes,

anyone else using them as a resource , hammer golf tees into them , mallets are best, so much learning form hand eye co ordination, awareness of others, turn taking, counting and then exploration when you cut it open to find any lost golf tees from too much hammering!! smell, look, etc etc. wonderful time had by all.
