General question Importance of physical development!

Hiya all.
This is my first post! But this website has been amazing to give me ideas for my Level 3 Diploma.

This seems like such an easy question but I'm unsure if I'm not giving it enough thought!

Explain the importance of physical development on a child's development....

Please help me! I'm figuring it's because a child learns so much through physical development. There is fine motor skills and gross motor skills and by engaging in these activities they will begin to develop in other areas also. For example, they may use their physical skills as babies to explore items, which opens a door for communication and language to express their delight or sadness with the items texture etc. It also benefits the child in later years, when they are able to use these motor skills and hand eye co-ordination to join in with physical activities or everyday situations, such as learning to drive.

Please help and let me know if I'm on the right track or not!
It's Unit 626 outcome 1.1

Thank you in advance!!!
