Hi, pages 294 of the EYE handbook look at speech, language and communication.

The records that you keep on children's development provides you with information that enables you to make decisions or judgements about how well a child is progressing?

If you use the definitions for speech language communication https://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16471 as a guide, how do your development trackers match up?

page 299 - search for 'social development' in the amazon preview

This thread looks at synthetic phonics and has a link to a sample chapter you can use as reference https://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21197

and this page of Talking Point helps to highlight the impact of not supporting children's SL&C http://www.talkingpoint.org.uk/paren...nication-vital

Hth xx
