SOS EYE8 - summative and formative assesment help!!!

Hiya. im currently stuck on my EYE8 aswell, my mind is exploding from this question.

: explain the link between formative and summative assessment to ensure that the teaching and learning is challenging.

: explain the local and national policies and legislation and current frameworks surrounding planning for children in the early years
